This article will show you the steps in Web design, Web development, Website Redesign projects and explain why it is so important to start projects early, especially if you are trying to capture a piece of the holiday shopping such as Black Friday or Cyber Monday.   3. Project manager has discussion with you for final confirmation to proceed with your project
  4. We wait to receive all the materials so we can begin
  5. Project manager gives instructions to Web designer on how to begin work
  6. Web designer(s) creates the user interface (UI) and the look-and-feel of your website for the first time
  7. Project manger reviews the newly created user interface and the new look-and-feel for your website before reviewing it together with you
  8. Project manager reviews the newly created user interface and the new look-and-feel for your new website (as a rough draft) with you for the first time
  9. Project manager then gives instructions to Web designer(s) for a 2nd round of revision
  10. Web designer(s) refine the user interface and the new look-and-feel during 2nd round of improvements
  11. Project manager reviews the revised user interface and look-and-feel by Web designer(s) from the 2nd round of improvements
  12. Project manager then gives instructions to Web designer(s) for a 3rd round of revision
  13. Web designer(s) refine the user interface and the new look-and-feel during 3rd round
  14. Project manager reviews the revised user interface and look-and-feel by Web designer(s) from the 3nd round of improvements
  15. The user interface and look-and-feel is shown to you for review and approval
  16. You approve the finalized user interface and look-and-feel and your project proceeds into the next phase
  17. Project manager now sends the prepared instructions to Web developer(s) and they begin coding your website for the first time
  18. Project manager reviews the new work by the Web developer(s) from the 1st round
  19. Project manager gives instructions for revision to the Web developer(s) for the 2nd round of improvements
  20. Web developer(s) refines Web pages and functions during the 2nd round of improvements
  21. Project manager reviews the new changes by the Web developer(s) from the 2nd round of improvements
  22. Project manager gives instructions for revision to the Web developer(s) for the 3rd round of improvements
  23. Web developer(s) refines Web pages and functions during the 3rd round of improvements
  24. Project manager reviews the new changes by the Web developer(s) from the 3rd round of improvements
  25. Project manager performs a review and tests your website
  26. Project manager shows progress of your website (which includes both the appearance and functions)
  27. You review and test your website to give feedback
  28. Project manager instructs Web designer(s) and Web developer(s) on any adjustments and refinements needed for a final round of improvements
  29. Web designer(s) make any necessary final improvements to the user interface and look-and-feel
  30. Web developer(s) makes any necessary improvements to the Web pages and functions
  31. Project manager reviews both the Web designer(s)’ work and the Web developer(s)’ work
  32. Project manager delivers the finished product
  33. Your website is moved onto the server, made live and online, and ready to go!

As you can see there are many steps to each project and it takes time to do things right. These steps do not include any marketing campaigns, SEO – Search Engine Optimization campaigns, social media campaigns, etc. You’ll need even more time if you have something additional in mind.
